Second vehicle to arrive at launch about 5:45 am and on water by 6:00. Lot was full when I launched. Thought I'd go south and find good action on the outgoing tide in front of the various outflows. Water was relatively clear with little floating grass. Started with topwater and switched over to z-man scented paddle tails and curly tails as sun got higher. Didn't matter. No trout, snook or reds for me today; nary a bight. Did manage to find some tails working the flat between Joclyn Island and the east wall. I could have touched one engrossed feeding red with my paddle before she spooked. Could have been a cover girl. Returned to launch about 12:00. It was a beautiful morning on the water.

Man, sorry about the results, but yes, it was a great morning. I'm hoping to try Black Key Monday, then south to Wood.

Sailor: Have fun and tight lines! I would like to join you but am tied up on a "honey do" Monday. Will target Tuesday at Pineland. I'll look for your post.
