I launched at the Cocahatchee River Park Launch around 7:30 AM. I fished the bay west of the launch and caught a small snook and a jack. Water was clear and it was the last 90 minutes of the incoming tide. There was no other action until the tide changed. I was fishing the mangroves near the boat channel and caught another Jack and a catfish. Then within about an hour I hooked into three different snook only to lose them all. The last one was in the 28-30 inch range. I was using gulp shrimp on a wide gap twist lock hook with a 1/16th weight. Just wasn't my day for hooking snook.
I caught another jack on the way back to the launch. It was a great day on the water with a nice NE wind to keep thing comfortable.
