I keep fishing the canals in NW Cape Coral but the pre-spawn bite is very slow and, I see very few bass fishing boats or bank fishermen.

We have had a warm December so far so I am hoping that the bite picks up in January.

I think its about 2 months early for pre-spawn activity for bass.... but I guess in reality unless its spawn or post spawn, its always pre-spawn

The bass bite was picking up nicely here in NW Cape Coral until yesterday when the cooler, windy weather arrived.

They would grab moving plastic grubs, worms or plugs early morning or late afternoon

I am using a new image hosting service named Imgur but cannot figure out how to post an image on this site??????

I used to post images from Photobucket but I no longer use that site.

Any suggestions?

I edited your link so hopefully that's the image you were testing. There should be sharing links on Imgur that you can copy and paste here. One suggestion is to put a lowercase L after the file name so XXXX.jpg would be XXXXl.jpg. This displays your photo in a size that fits on the website. The links should be formatted like:

http://i.imgur.com/fC4dt6pl.jpg With the bracketed img tags around it.

BigJoe

Thanks, your tip about the lowercase L should help as Imgur balked at my trial photo"s file size
