Thank you for all the advice. I think I spent to much time in the front area. I did throw a frog but probably not enough. I wasn't gonna go back but now I think I will try again next time it's to windy to go out in the flats. Thanks again man!
You're very welcome. When I was there this past weekend I saw more kayaks out fishing than I ever have. I asked a few if they had any luck and they all replied with a sour look on their face as they said,"no".

My first few trips there I had the same luck. There is so much fishy structure there that it gets overwhelming. I caught my 3 biggest bass all in this one spot past the bridge and I usually paddle right to it before I cast a line. The spot is usually the last cast of the day too.

I am thinking about going to Lakes Park this weekend and if you want to meet up I can show you a few spots that the bass like to hang at and the part of the pond that Ghoster dubbed "Snook Alley". lol

I've had some luck with some small bass back there in the pads with a zoom frogs or brush hog. I've really never caught much elsewhere other than a couple on rat-l-trap in some of the open cuts. I've always fished mostly the north side of the lake. I haven't been in several months I was skunked there last time.
