Caught this tilapia a few days ago on a bright beetle spin. Unusual for me to catch tilapia in winter. Summer into fall seems
better for me

What choice of bait do you gents use up here to freshwater fish.

I told you to come bass fishing with me one day and I will hook you up.
Lots of gear sitting in my garage unused because I only use the fly rod now.

I see more big tilapia on their beds now but have not gotten one to take.

I am going to try a small bit of bacon on a very small lead jig head with white or yellow paint on the head.

I will report the results
