Put in just after sunrise wading directly west to the bars. Water was very high (high at sevenish); did not quite get out that far. Caught a number of 14 - 15" trout and then started southeast toward oyster bar. My buddy got 19" red and a couple of minutes later I caught what appeared to be a 25 incher. Had to approximate due to not having enough hands. Both caught on paddle tails. Water still very dark and bottom soft. Difficult walking in Crocs. Path had lots of water up to about a foot deep in places. In about 10:30 or so.
