Hadn't been out to the birding trail since early Spring when much of the trail was under a foot of water in places. It is fine now and you can even pull your yak down to the launch site if you have the stamina. Today I was wading with a fella I had met a couple of days earlier. Tide was receding but relatively high from what I have experienced in the past. Walked south throwing around the oyster bars and then out to the bar and then north working both sides of the bar. Followed it for quite a while before my body told me it was enough. My buddy got four snook in the 15 - 18" range whereas I got one lizard fish on the day, along with some good size blisters.
