This X-Factor just got stealthy thanks to Alex from Castaway Customs. They didn't have a template made up for this kayak yet, so instead of scanning (had a hard time coordinating schedules to meet) I traced out all areas with mylar paper and sent them to Alex. He scanned the traces and sent me my kit. Great guy/company to work with. I believe I got Alex's info from this site so thanks whoever posted it up a while back.

Thanks again Ryan! It was 135.00 for the kit. Looks much better than what I had on there before and more durable. I got a quote from Seadek and Castaway was cheaper as Seadek was not going to do the side rails or gator hatch. Plus like you said before, rather support local buisness.
Not sure what other yaks they have besides the Malibu Stealth... couldn't find any info on the site.

Alex is the West Coast rep and would prob be the guy to talk to if anyone is interested:

Does the black get hot on your feet?

Not usually out past 12 noon, but few times I have been it wasn't bad at all. Seadek states they don't warranty the black pads tho which was cause for concern, but the only way I could see black being a problem is on a boat that's stored uncovered outside. Highly recommend it though...stuff is great.

I've been in touch with Ryan, he got me set up with gray seadek for mine. Looks like a great product.
