I have wanted to install this lift system since I got my PA, but finally bought it a month back and scheduled my FIL to help with the install last weekend. I am pretty happy with it so far as I can put my yak and all it's associated gear up and out of the way with no problems. If anybody wants specifics on the make, etc., just let me know. It was well worth the $144.00 and I will strongly consider another one in the future for storage up over the garage doors. Enjoy the pictures!

Nice lift! I think your garage is cleaner than my kitchen!

Nice install, Clint! How do you get it on the platform? Walk it across with the PA on wheels, then lift?

I had help from the FIL the first time and thought it would be easy, trying to put it up yesterday I had a time "scooting" it on the mat. I am thinking about getting a few dowel rods to roll it up far enough to balance. I think that will be the easiest solution. I was thinking about some PVC as well on each edge to get it to slide on. Then the yak will clear above on each side and sit down flush on the mat.

I actually didn't mind the butta faces back in the day. A beer or ten usually took care of that, and most of the time there is so much more to focus on..............
