First day out in the new boat. I had planned on going solo, but Mrs. Slipkid got off work early, so we made it a 2 some. Since we were gonna mainly be padling and having a picnic on the beach, I only brought 1 rod and some plastics. I caught a snooklet , while Mrs. Slipkid and I were eating at Wiggins Pass. I later caught an underslot red in the Cocohatchee after dropping the Mrs. off at the launch. Both on a DOA paddletail.

I love my T-160.... now I can keep up with the Mrs. in her Eddyline!

I installed a no drill anchor trolley and set it up for my milk crate..........

Looks great! I'd like to see how you installed the no drill anchor trolly - sounds like a good idea!

I tied harken pulleys on the port side using 550 cord to the outside hole of the bungee mounts on the rail in the rear, and the outside hole on the bow bungee. It doesn't go the length of the boat, but should be adequate to keep me from going broadside to the waves.

I am gonna probably do something different though. I am going to install a Sealect Designs Trucourse rudder, which probably won't use the built in lift line guides on the starboard side, so I'm gonna use one of those points for the rear mount, and the same forward mount, but on the opposite side than I am currently using. I will probably have to drill for the zigzag cleat though. I tried mounting one on the forward rail, which works, but it's in an inconvenient spot. I'd prefer it low on the gunwale, next to the seat, but behind my paddle stroke.

I'll get some pics.
