Picked this up on craigslist about a month ago and have been having a blast with it. It's my first Kayak so I was looking for something that was ready to go. The less things I've gotta tell my wife I'm buying, the better.
Came with:
-Lowrance Hook 5 fish finder
-Scotty Rod holders
-Livewell
-Fish Net
-Anchor Trolley
-Anchor
-basically everything

Let me know what ya'll think!

Great choice for a first boat. Ditto on the wife comment!

Thanks guys! Hoping to pickup some knockoff GoPros or something soon to get some better fish pictures.

Looks like you are all set, congrats. Only thing I might add is a stick anchor of some sorts. I rarely ever carry my claw anchor.

I had an older Oldtown over 10 years ago that was one of my earliest kayaks. I t was 14 ft and sturdy. a sit inside (SI). It was a bit heavy and I sold it and switched to a SOT style.

Your Predator is sure a sleek looking kraft. It is hard to tell if it is a SI or SOT type?

Good luck with it.

I'd say it's more of a sit on top type. It's got one of those big seats that sets you up pretty high. It can be adjusted up higher for when you're fishing, or down lower if you're doing a lot of paddling. Super comfortable!

Thanks man. Yea a stick/pole type anchor is also something I'd like to get. I do a lot of drifting and often want to stop quickly to fish a spot a little longer. I'm thinking a stick would be faster/quieter/easier than my traditional style anchor. I've seen some DIY videos on that so am leaning towards making my own.
