Hi All,

My trek to FL is 2 days out and all indications are I should be able to bring my Hobie. As I look at all the posts on this board and the tides and the different areas available to explore, I realize I need to ask for some guidance to be sure I'm not wasting time. I'll have direct access to the Estero River and already know I'm going to take time to ride the tide out and back, hitting up the Horseshoe Key area one day.

Rookery looks really fishy, and there's a few reports on this board, of which, many are older. Matlacha--paddled it already. Was productive, can certainly return.

Where do you recommend, keeping in mind I have a Hobie, and since I'm not familiar with the areas, may not realize how skinny the skinny water is?

Also, if anybody is available fish midweek next week, I would enjoy the company/local knowledge. Will return the favor if you ever visit the MA waters. Thanks.

Jeff

I hope your trip went well, Jeff. Any noteworthy experiences btw? Florida has always been a lot of fun for me.
