Good afternoon Tribe,

Anyone fishing the cape canals and/or lakes with Senko Worms. Ive always been a top water lure guy for freshwater but have a buddy slaying some decent size bass around the cape.

Use Zoom watermelon red trick worms, either texas rigged w/ a bullet weight or carolina with a small split shot.

I've always done pretty well in the canals with those.

I live in NW Cape now and have been fishing the YUM Senko style worms in watermelon or black red fleck with 4/0 wide gap hook, no weight.

They work fine but the bite has been slowing for the past couple of weeks.

I am hoping for rain enough to really run the road drains and raise the water level.
