Sailor - great to hear you sold that nice kayak. Fishing appears to be very slow round here what with the heat, red tide and green algae - I am going through all of my gear to tune up for the cooler weather to come - Dick K

The guy that bought it, came down from Safety Harbor, near Tampa. Evidently, Eddyline has discontinued the model, no longer on its website. How does that happen, being best of show at Icast in 2015, to pulling it from your product line 3 years later. ?? I seem to be drawn to good boats that are quickly discontinued: C135, Native Ultimate Elite, Current Designs Altura! Price was probably the reason it didn't sell as well.

Marketing or lack of, and saturated market.

Hey if you looking for something used that Estero place had more than one Altura laying out under the trees, looked like they were just collecting dust and leaves.

The altura was good, but took too much modifying to fit me.(moving the foot pedals forward and down) , plus I'm addicted to the chair seat now, and couldn't go back to the old style.

Been looking for a job, so won't be anything soon. Not much call in this area for a "seasoned" degreed professional/USN Vet.
