I live in Ft Myers and fish from a Hobie Revolution 13. Previously I spent quite a few years in a Tarpon 140. I've tended to stay around the passes around Estero Bay when I was restricted to paddle power, but now that I have the Hobie I'm expanding a little bit. I'm hoping to land my first Tarpon this year.

If you start hooking tarpon, let us know. Someone on the site can give you tips about the actual landing of your first tarpon.

Welcome, but I;m not sure you need a Hobie to catch Tarpon, I catch them in my canoe and form my SUP, soon to add tarpon to my Native.
