Launched just before 6:00 and headed strait to the Key. Did not stop at the oyster bar nor did I collect $200. The wind was every bit of the forecast 5 mph pushing water up against the east wall. Caught a red and a snook in rapid succession. Moved around to the north side of the Key and got another red, then a snook on top water. Went up on the flat looking for tarpon but didn't find any. Did get a 21" trout on top water. Shortly afterward, the tarpon began to show although I couldn't get any to eat. It was about 9:00 when the wind died and the water became smooth. Didn't get another hit on the day other than a reasonably large cat on my skitter walk top water lure. By 11:30 I had had enough and called it quits.

Good to hear. I’m the guy with the red outback from the Pineland launch a couple weeks back by the way.
