I lunched at the Cocohahatchee River Park launch around 7:15 and began by drifting west covering the mangroves off of the launch. After 2 quick ladyfish, I hooked a small snook. For the next hour and a half, I had several hook-ups but no landings. I headed to my favorites spots in the North Channel and caught a healthy 19" trout a couple of ladyfish and a snapper. The incoming tide really started ripping so I got out of the channel and headed to a back bay to fish the small islands. I hooked up to a nice 21" red to complete my first slam! Action slowed after that so I headed back to the launch around 11:45.

Water clarity was good. I caught everything on a new penny gulp shrimp rigged weedless on a 3/0 WG hook.

I know. I do not like this weather pattern we are in. Whatever happened to the normal summer "PM storms" pattern? At least it was predictable.
