We have recently been hit with an increased amount of spam. I have deleted all the messages as well as all suspect users who recently registered within the last week or so. If I accidentally deleted a valid account I apologize, but I doubt there are many Russian SWFL kayak enthusiasts. I turned on E-mail activation so there is another hoop for them to jump through before spamming us again. I didn't want to force manual approval of accounts as I only drop by occasionally. I also thought about changing the registration question, but couldn't think of a new one that is obvious to everyone.

No problem at all. I did end up turning on manual activation and deleted about 50 accounts this morning that were registered within the last few days.

If anyone can think of a new registration question that should be obvious to kayak fishing enthusiasts please post it here or PM me. For those who've forgotten we ask "what do we fish out of" as a security question when registering, but the answer must have gotten out.
