Made a few stops yesterday between other errands.

I was able to hook a few bass on slowly worked swim baits late morning in spots with wind at my back and full sun on the water.

Today, we are fully into one of our Florida cold fronts but I hope to give the bass another chance later in the day.

Bass fishing has been slow in NW Cape for the past week.

I have caught a few but with hard work trying to keep the lure out of the trees and brush with the wind.

I have seen a few beds but none occupied by spawning pairs of bass yet.

Lots of mosquito fish, a good sign and our subsistence ( lawn chair) fisherman have been doing well with pan sized bluegill (brim)
